A friend of mine is an amazingly talented pianist an singer (and nowadays drummer aswell) and has a job at the pianobar Crazy Pianos at Scheveningen. We got into a conversation one night and it came to mind that I used to play drums (I didn't play piano or sing back then). He invited me to come over one evening to jam a little.

Tuesday the 31st of july 2007, my dad, mom, close friend Max and myself went to Crazy Pianos, equipped with drumsticks. We got there pretty early because there's no entrance fee before a certain time and started off with a couple of drinks. Around nine o'clock the drummer normally shows up so they can start the real music, before that time it's just pianos and soft vocals. That night he wasn't so on time apparently and eventually I was surprised by a loud 'STEVEN ON STAGE!' through the bar. I went to the drums and started playing with Johnny and had a great time. Just as I was getting into it, the drummer showed up. This huge guy was standing behind me tapping me on the shoulder hinting me to get off stage. They must've liked what I did, cause for the rest of the night everytime the drummer took a break, they let me in.

Had a great time and I really recommend this bar to anybody who's in the area of Scheveningen. Especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
